At The Authors' Gathering, we believe that writing is an art that should be enjoyed and celebrated. Our mission is to create a nurturing community where writers can meet, learn, and grow together. Ronnie and Krista, our Arab-German-Canadian mother-daughter team, bring a unique and diverse voice to the world, complementing their collective experience of over 30+ years in publishing, writing, and research. Co-Founder

Ronnie Swais

Ronnie is a seasoned executive publisher who was an early adopter of self-publishing over 19 years ago. Ronnie is a graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology's retail management program and brings extensive experience and knowledge in marketing and media production to authors, helping them share their books with the world. Ronnie has been the publisher of over 45 books through A Beautiful Life Books and has also been the publisher of A Beautiful Life Magazine since 2018.

Krista Hannesen

Krista, a graduate of York University's English program, has a decade of expertise in publishing, writing, editing, and research. Her songwriting talents have garnered over 60,000 views on YouTube, while her written works have been prominently showcased in CC Voice, YOUR, SoulFull Image, and various other publications. Krista has been the editorial lead of over 45 books through A Beautiful Life Books, and has been the Executive Editor and Editorial Director of A Beautiful Life Magazine since 2018.
